A day in the life of a Aussie Director
by Patrick Tully

It’s very difficult to describe a typical day at fusion learning and perhaps that’s the beauty of my role and why, even after 9 years with the business, I feel as enthusiastic as I did on day 1.

Patrick Tully

Having started my career in the corporate world where predictability and politics played too much of a role I decided that working across multiple categories, countries and clients in a smaller organization would better suit my exploratory and collaborative nature and that’s what I’ve been doing for the last 15 years of my life. I’ve been lucky enough to explore, create and collaborate on literally hundreds of brands across dozens of countries with teams from a wide variety of categories and cultures – and no two projects have ever been exactly the same.

So, I guess variety, inventing possibilities and working with great people on great brands is what keeps me smiling, and whether I’m at my desk in the Sydney office, running a co-creation session in Melbourne or working on global comms in Mumbai – I’m very lucky that I get that everyday!
